convoluter: BF2000

The BF2000 produces polyurethane profiled sheets. The foam sheets are fed through the profiled rollers into the band knife. The knife cuts the polyurethane foam during its compressed state producing two sheets with a profiled side per sheet. The profiling rollers are interchangeable and adjustable by a graduated hand wheel relative to the band-knife. A mechanical positioning indicator shows the position of the rollers in reference to the band-knife.

The 50mm wide blade is sharpened by a power-driven grinding device which is equipped with a grinding dust exhaust system. The special steel blade guide also features four adjustable bumpers. The height of the aluminium table is adjustable in order to ensure the foam always remains in position with reference to the rollers. The BF2000 is equipped with an unloading table and two profiled rollers and the customer can choose the type of profile.
