Based on the very successful Compuset contour cutting machines, the Winset family of hot-wire cutting machines provides the ultimate in flexibility for volume and small manufacturers, for both contour cutting and slitting, but at a lower cost.
The basic slitter is a 10-wire manually loaded machine with a mono-directional conveyor system designed for medium volumes of EPS sheets and can be supplied in a variety of widths and lengths to suit individual requirements. There is also a vertical trimmer that can be added to other systems for increased versatility.
Depending on the user's requirements, the Winset is available as either a manually or fully automatic wire loading system for contour cutting and slitting. Both machines are fully computerized, allowing the operator to design and cut a large variety of shapes quickly and easily using the many features of the Wintech Profiler Software. Using bi-directional conveyor systems, these machines can be integrated into cutting lines and configured as cutting lines by the addition of input and exit conveyor systems.
Like all of Wintech's machines, the Winset is controlled by the simple-to-use Wintech assisted design, nesting and machine control program that makes the operation of the machine easy to staff at all levels.
