The Wintech Fastwire Contour Cutter is a versatile machine which uses an abrasive wire moving at high-speed to enable it to cut complex two dimensional shapes from a wide range of rigid and flexible foams. These include flexible and rigid PU, EPS, PE, PVC, EVA, Rockwool and phenolic foams (refer to Wintech regarding cutting phenoylic foams).
For efficient parallel cutting of EPS, the Fast-wire can be optionally fitted with either 10 manually set hot-wires or a full 40-wire Compuset System.
The machine's moving cutting frame and fixed table design allow it to cut blocks which are almost as long as the machine itself, saving valuable factory floor space.
The machine is equipped with a remote handset allows easy wire positioning and manual cutoff.
Complementing the Fastwire range is our latest offering: the Dual Fastwire contour cutting machine featuring the flexibility of both horizontal and vertical wire configurations in tandem or independently. This machine comes with the added convenience of a conveyor belted table. Unlike the standard Fastwire machine which has a cutting frame that moves along the horizontal axis, the Dual Fastwire features a fixed cutting frame.
Like all of Wintech's machines, the Fast-wire is controlled by the simple-to-use Wintech assisted design, nesting and machine control program that makes the operation of the machine easy to staff at all levels.
